May 15, 2022 – Level 10 Development National Championships, Mesa, AZ

Lily concluded her Level 10 season and club career at the National Championships in Mesa, AZ on May, 15, 2022. Lily placed 8th Bars (9.625), 8th Beam (9.425), 8th All Around (38.225), 12th Floor (9.625), and 24th Vault (9.550). All of Lily’s scores helped contribute to her Region 5 Dream Team tying for 1st place in the Senior E age division. Way to go, Lily! Congratulations on an incredible 12 years of club gymnastics at Gym America, and wishing you the very best during your college career!

May 12, 2022 – Saline High School 2022 Compass Awards, Saline, MI

Lily received the 2022 Compass Award at Saline High School. This distinguished award is given to the top 5% of the graduating class in recognition of outstanding academic achievement throughout high school. Lily is graduating with a 4.00 unweighted grade point average. She selected her AP Spanish Teacher, Señora Astrid Leese, as her honored educator. The awards were presented at the Saline High School Compass Award Banquet on May 12, 2022.

April 21, 2022 – Region 5 Championships, La Grange, IL

Lily is the Region 5 Bar Champion and qualified to represent Region 5 on the Dream Team at Nationals in Mesa, Arizona next month! At Regional Championships in McCook, Illinois, Lily placed 1st on bars (9.700), 4th on vault (9.450), 5th on floor (9.500), and 5th all around. Congratulations, Lily!

Happy 18th Birthday, Lily!

March 5, 2022 – Tim Rand Invite, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Lily competed at the Tim Rand Invite in Fort Lauderdale and earned a personal best AA score of 38.925! She placed 2nd AA, 2nd Bars (9.875), 2nd Beam (9.800), 3rd Vault (9.675), and 4th Floor (9.575).

January 22, 2022 – Wolverine Classic, Jackson, MI

At the Wolverine Classic Lily earned 1st AA (37.550), 1st VT (9.550), 1st BB (9.500), 1st Bars, 1st Floor, her first sweep of all events as a Level 10.

May 15, 2021 – Level 10 Development National Championships, Daytona Beach, FL

At the Level 10 Development National Championships in Daytona Beach, FL, Lily placed 7th on Vault (9.650), 13th all-around (37.675), 24th on Bars, and 26th on Floor (9.500). Her Region 5 dream team combined to win the Senior B age group.

April 16, 2021 – Region 5 Championships, Cincinnati, OH

Lily qualified to the Level 10 Development National Championships at the Region 5 Championships in Cincinnati, OH. Lily placed 2nd bars (9.575), 3rd on vault, and 6th all around (37.225). Lily is on the Region 5 Dream Team which will compete next month in Daytona Beach, FL. Congratulations, Lily!

December 19, 2020 – Lily Commits to the University of Michigan

Lily is excited to announce that she has verbally committed to the University of Michigan! She will join the Michigan gymnastics team in 2022.

We are so proud of Lily and all her hard work in the classroom. In May, Lily received the Saline High School “Math Department Outstanding Academic Achievement Award”, as well as the “Gold Honor Roll Award” in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement during the school year.

Happy 16th Birthday, Lily!

March 7, 2020 – Tim Rand, West Palm Beach, FL

Lily competed at the Tim Rand Invite in West Palm Beach and earned a new season high AA score of 38.000! She placed 2nd Vault (9.675), 3rd AA (38.000), 3rd Bars (9.500), 3rd Beam (9.425), and 4th Floor (9.400).

February 15, 2020 – Denver Winterfest, Denver, CO

At the Denver Winterfest Lily placed 1st Vault, 1st Beam Champion and 2nd AA.

At Circle of Stars in Indianapolis, Lily earned a season high all-around and beam score. She placed 2nd AA (37.800), 2nd beam (9.600), 2nd bars (9.400), and 5th on floor.

Our next 20 Questions Athlete is a 2x JO National Qualifier, who hails from one of the best gyms in the State of Michigan…Gym America, Lily Clapper followed her sister Leah into the sport of gymnastics and just as her sister has thrived at the highest JO Level. Lily is beautiful to watch on the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise, she is graceful, elegant, powerful and really know how to show off her routine on both events… (Full Article)

20 Questions Tuesday with Lily Clapper

May 19, 2019 – J.O. National Championships, Indianapolis, IN

Lily finished up her 2019 Level 10 season at her 2nd J.O. National Championships in Indianapolis. She began with a nice Vault, scoring a 9.575 and placing 15th. She had a tough bar rotation, but came back solid on Beam, and finished strong on Floor. Lily had so much fun competing with her teammates, as well as a valuable experience at J.O. Nationals. She is excited to work on new upgrades for next season.

May 16, 2019 – Lily Receives Academic Achievement Awards

We are so proud of Lily for all her hard work in the classroom. In May, Lily received the “Gold Honor Roll Award” in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement during the school year, as well as the “Social Studies Department Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.”
Lily completed her freshman year with a 4.00 grade point average, finishing 1st in her class of 456.

Lily qualified to the Junior Olympic National Championships at the Region 5 Championships in Battle Creek, MI. Lily placed 2nd vault (9.600), 4th all around (37.400), and 4th on bars (9.425). Lily is on the Region 5 Dream Team which will compete next month in Indianapolis, IN. Congratulations, Lily!

March 16, 2019 – Michigan State Meet, Grand Rapids, MI

Lily is Michigan’s Junior A Beam State Champion! In addition to placing 1st on beam, Lily placed 7th all around (36.375), and 8th on vault. Here is a video clip from the meet: Beam

February 24, 2019 – Elevate the Stage, Toledo, OH

Lily earned a season high vault score of 9.700 at Elevate the Stage in Toledo, OH. She placed 2nd on vault, 3rd on floor, 3rd on beam, and 3rd all around. Here are some video clips from the meet: Vault Floor

June 4, 2018 – SEMMLAA Award

Lily was recognized at the annual Southeastern Conference Academic Awards Night for ranking at the top of her class. She received the Southeast Michigan Middle Level Administrators’ Association (SEMMLAA) Award for being named one of the outstanding 8th grade students at Saline Middle School. Congratulations Lily!

May 12, 2018 – J.O. National Championships, Cincinnati, OH

Lily concluded her first Level 10 season at the Junior Olympic National Championships. She had a great experience despite a few uncharacteristic mistakes. She is looking forward to working on new upgrades for next season. Here is a highlight video from the meet: JO Nationals Highlights (1:46)

April 13, 2018 – Region 5 Championships, Battle Creek, MI

Lily qualified to the Junior Olympic National Championships with a great meet at the Region 5 Championships in Battle Creek, MI. Lily placed 6th all around (37.000), 6th on floor (9.450) and beam (9.325), and 8th vault. Lily is on the Region 5 Dream Team which will compete next month in Cincinnati, OH. Congratulations, Lily! March 17, 2018 – Michigan State Meet, Battle Creek, MI

January 6, 2018 – Twistars Invitational, Dimondale, MI

December 1, 2017 – Gymnastics on the Grand, Grand Rapids, MI

Lily placed 2nd all-around, 2nd beam, and placed 3rd on vault, bars, and floor at her first Level 10 meet at Gymnastics on the Grand. She qualified to event finals and placed 1st on beam (9.400). Here is a highlight video from the meet: 2017 Gymnastics on the Grand Highlights (1:35)

April 28, 2017 – Eastern Nationals, East Lansing, MI

Lily finished off her Level 9 season with a successful meet at Eastern Nationals. She tied for 2nd on floor (9.525) and placed 3rd on vault (9.550). April 9, 2017 – Level 9 Region 5 Championships, Indianapolis, IN

In Indianapolis, Lily competed in the Region 5 Championships and qualified to Eastern National Championships. Lily was the regional vault champion (9.575) (second year in a row as regional Vault Champion), placed 2nd floor (9.525), 6th all-around (37.150), and 7th beam. Congratulations Lily! March 17, 2017 – Level 9 Michigan State Championships, Battle Creek, MI

Lily qualified to Level 9 Region 5 Championships. She competed in Battle Creek, MI at the State Meet and placed 3rd on floor (9.525), 4th vault, 4th beam, and 7th all-around, and her Level Gym America team was the 2nd Place Team.
