Lily is excited to announce that she has verbally committed to the University of Michigan! She will join the Michigan gymnastics team in 2022.

We are so proud of Lily and all her hard work in the classroom. In May, Lily received the Saline High School “Math Department Outstanding Academic Achievement Award”, as well as the “Gold Honor Roll Award” in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement during the school year.
At the Denver Winterfest Lily placed 1st Vault, 1st Beam Champion and 2nd AA.
Our next 20 Questions Athlete is a 2x JO National Qualifier, who hails from one of the best gyms in the State of Michigan…Gym America, Lily Clapper followed her sister Leah into the sport of gymnastics and just as her sister has thrived at the highest JO Level. Lily is beautiful to watch on the Balance Beam and Floor Exercise, she is graceful, elegant, powerful and really know how to show off her routine on both events… (Full Article)
Lily finished up her 2019 Level 10 season at her 2nd J.O. National Championships in Indianapolis. She began with a nice Vault, scoring a 9.575 and placing 15th. She had a tough bar rotation, but came back solid on Beam, and finished strong on Floor. Lily had so much fun competing with her teammates, as well as a valuable experience at J.O. Nationals. She is excited to work on new upgrades for next season.

Lily completed her freshman year with a 4.00 grade point average, finishing 1st in her class of 456.

Lily qualified to the Junior Olympic National Championships at the Region 5 Championships in Battle Creek, MI. Lily placed 2nd vault (9.600), 4th all around (37.400), and 4th on bars (9.425). Lily is on the Region 5 Dream Team which will compete next month in Indianapolis, IN. Congratulations, Lily!

Lily was recognized at the annual Southeastern Conference Academic Awards Night for ranking at the top of her class. She received the Southeast Michigan Middle Level Administrators’ Association (SEMMLAA) Award for being named one of the outstanding 8th grade students at Saline Middle School. Congratulations Lily!

Lily qualified to the Junior Olympic National Championships with a great meet at the Region 5 Championships in Battle Creek, MI. Lily placed 6th all around (37.000), 6th on floor (9.450) and beam (9.325), and 8th vault. Lily is on the Region 5 Dream Team which will compete next month in Cincinnati, OH. Congratulations, Lily! Lily finished off her Level 9 season with a successful meet at Eastern Nationals. She tied for 2nd on floor (9.525) and placed 3rd on vault (9.550). In Indianapolis, Lily competed in the Region 5 Championships and qualified to Eastern National Championships. Lily was the regional vault champion (9.575) (second year in a row as regional Vault Champion), placed 2nd floor (9.525), 6th all-around (37.150), and 7th beam. Congratulations Lily! She competed in Battle Creek, MI at the State Meet and placed 3rd on floor (9.525), 4th vault, 4th beam, and 7th all-around, and her Level Gym America team was the 2nd Place Team.
